What Should You Do Instead of Using Slimming Patches

I know that I have posted quite a few posts that might have seemed to be promotional towards slimming patches, but even so I am allowed to change my opinion. I am not not recommending them from this point on, but instead I am telling you that you can and you should easily do without them and get great results.

First of all I need to start off with my experiences here.

The first time I started using them I was happy that there was going to be a way to keep my crrazy appetite in control - seriously I could eat a horse and want to eat another. Hoodia patches seemed like a great way to do that since they would be transdermally administering hoodia - one of the most potent herbal appetite suppressants around - to my system on an even basis. This to me seemed like I would not be hungry for the day.

The problem with starting out with a supplement is that you never realize that you will have to discontinue the use at some point. So here I am hitting those patches on my abdomen on a daily basis, and eating all kinds of crap. Seriously - I wasn't taking enough nutrients and proteion to block my appetite, but instead I was artificially blocking it with slimming patches and when I stopped using them I was hungry again!

So I started eating pizza and doughnuts, and gained all the weight back that I had lost. So here goes my opinion on how you should really take advantage of them in real life!

First of all there is no quick path to a healthy body, but the foundation is always nutrition and exercise. Every person should be hitting the gym three times a week at least, and if you are looking to get a good looking body I suggest you do it at least five times. This will guarantee that your metabolism is great at all times, and that you will have muscle mass - this will be highly beneficial when you are older, to maintain you in working order.

Many people have serious problems when they start on a path to a healthy body - they feel cravings for that food that they used to eat. So once you have changed your diet completely, start using a slimming patch or two, and use them just to make it easier to keep you on track! Make great food choices, do exercise and use supplements to boost the results is the way to go!

Why Should Slimming Patches Work?

So I previously wrote this post about slimming patches and it made me think quite a lot. I am sure that I want to get the best out of thse "review" type of posts that I am going to write about these diet patches, but I also want to keep an objective mind when it comes to these reviews. The problem is that the ads that you see about these patches are ridiculous - they are intended for desperate people who think that they have done everything they can to lose weight, when in fact all that they have done is everything else but diet and excercise. You read correctly! People who are looking for the fast way out, have tried all the possible fast ways out from the obesity but never succeeded. Why? Because they think everything should come fast and easy for them.

I can't blame them - we are in a society where everything is supposed to be very easy. Come on! We are trying to automate everything and why shouldn't we try to automate our health?

Do you want to know why? Because we can't!

Before the people weren't that health - when you look at statistics. People died very young and today our average expected lifespan is way longer than then. Why is this? I can say for sure that people back then were living a healthier life when it comes to diet and workout. Almost everyone were doing a physical job, and they were eating whole foods - not that processed crap that you can buy at the supermarkets these days. This is what makes people sick! They died because of diseases and just for being plain stupid. Today we have taken huge leaps in the western medicine, and for that reason we are living longer than before, while at the same time we have more and more people suffering from long term illnesses. Weird equation!

Slimming patches are supposed to be another great way out of this mess. They are supposed to make it all easy for you by automatically controlling your hunger - when you are less hungry you will eat less right? WRONG! The foods that we are eating today, are messing with our inherit appetite controlling systems. They are messing up our minds and today people are mostly eating because of a habit, not because we need to. Even if you use slimming patches you won't lose weight if you don't know what you are doing!

Why do I say this? Because before I write anything further about these diet patches, I need to make it sure to you that you know they aren't the solution for your possible obesity, you are the solution!

Don't be afraid of slimming patches

Many men are quite overweight and that is causing a lot of health problems. We don't really feel like going on a diet because that is something that the girls do all the time - instead many of us start to work out a little more and at the same time we are more hungry because of the calories that we burn at the gym. What do we do then? Well normally a man opens up a beer and gets a hot dog or a pizza. That doesn't really give you the body of your dreams. You could use something like slimming patches to control your appetite.

Having some extra weight can bring a lot of health problems from cardiac problems all to way to prostate problems. Why is that? Well since the adipose tissue is very effective in producing estrogen - which is the female sex hormone - your hormonal balance gets out of whack and it can have an effect on your prostate. Estrogen has been proven to have significant effects on the prostate and for that reason alone, men should stay slim during their whole lives. Don't bulk up - you can pass a pizza and beer without being a girly man.

Slimming patches are something that have been designed to control your appetite, and if you are not going to diet openly, you can slap on a patch like this and pretend you are quitting smoking. What do they do? They release specific chemicals in your body that start to suppress your appetite - meaning that you won't be that hungry during the day. The best benefit that you get is that you get very even levels of these chemicals in your bloodstream, as opposed to using diet pills. With pills you will have to be popping them three to five times a day, and even then only experience a few hours of effect. With the patch you are going to be appetite suppressed the whole day and only eat when you want to eat!

So the biggest benefit is definetly the suppression of the appetite, but are all the slimming patches the same? Nope! And I will do a review of a few of the most popular patches on this blog to make it clear to you, which ones you should avoid and which ones you should buy. Don't get too excited because they aren't going to do the work for you - you will still need to diet and exercise to get the best effect, but they can surely help a lot!
